Meet the Team
Rebecca Zion serves as Managing Partner for aquesst. Rebecca was raised in Murray, Kentucky and grew up with her parents and older sister, Anne-Marie. She attended high school in Nashville, Tennessee at Harpeth Hall. Rebecca received her BA in Sociology from Wake Forest University in 1997. After graduation she took a position with EMS Management & Consultants and served as their Operations Manager for 2 years. Upon moving to Atlanta in 1999 Rebecca began her career in the IT Search space. Rebecca spent 10 years with a local firm and served as a Recruiter, Recruiting Manager, and Division Director. After 10 years Rebecca left the firm and became co-founder/co-owner of aquesst. Rebecca is an active member of Dunwoody United Methodist Church and a strong supporter of the Dunwoody Nature Center. Over the years she has served on many technology boards. She and her husband, Justin, live in Dunwoody with their 2 giant Bernese Mountain dogs.
Renata Mathison is one of the founders of aquesst. Renata grew up in a small town outside of Philadelphia. She earned her BA of Finance, Magna Cum Laude from Clarion University and moved to FL where she started her career in recruiting. After moving to Atlanta, she joined a local search firm as the Recruiting Manager. She worked her way up to running half of the professional services organization as the EVP of Professional Services and helped the organization become the largest privately held search firm in Atlanta. In 2010, Renata left and started aquesst with Rebecca Zion and the rest is history! Renata loves to travel, paint and the amazing team that has made aquesst what it is and evolves to be!
Senior Director of Recruiting
Brighton Coleman directs the recruiting process at aquesst. An Atlanta native, she is passionate about the city’s growth and desire to be a contender for top tier IT talent, she is also an avid Falcons and Atlanta United Fan. Brighton graduated from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a degree in Spanish and Speech Communications. She spent several years in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she began her recruiting career practicing international executive recruitment in a full desk capacity, handling business development, account management and recruiting. She loved the recruiting piece especially and returned to her hometown to specialize in IT, placing Atlanta’s best and brightest technology professionals throughout the city. She joined aquesst in the fall of 2011 as a recruiter and has been building out and managing the recruiting team ever since while continuing to place elite technical talent. Brighton teaches high school Sunday School at Northside United Methodist Church with her husband and two sisters and is actively involved in Emory’s Alzheimer’s Disease & Research center.
Director of Sales
Adam Barraclough serves as the Director of Sales for aquesst. Adam is a rare native of Atlanta who has lived here his entire life. He earned his BA in Political Science at The University of Georgia, and did a short stint with the Department of Defense before changing careers into the world of IT staffing. After several years as a top producer in an Account Executive role at a local firm, Adam later went on to become the Sr. Director over the sales organization. Adam joins aquesst with more than 12 years of experience in the business. He considers himself to be the best thing that’s happened to the staffing industry since the internet, but he’s still learning from the best at aquesst.
